God is love and without love, you can’t be a Christian. Without God you can’t be. It’s as simple as that, no matter how you put it.
Recently someone that I know said that it’s ok to be gay and that you can still be a Christian even if you are gay. She also said that the Bible might say otherwise but it was written by people not God. That is not at all true because God and his Word are one.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
A Christian should be trustworthy. As a Christian you can’t just follow only what you like in the bible and then create your own reasons why you should not follow the things that you do not like in the Bible. The Bible is holy, it is wrong to try to change it to fit you or your opinion.
