How to enter the contest?

  • Click the ‘Apply’ button below and fill out the application.
  • With the application, you will need two pictures. The first has to be a picture of an original piece of art both created by and completely owned by you. The second has to be  a picture of you holding the piece of art. (The  picture of the art by itself is what will be displayed on the website.) Any artwork that is submitted but not created by and completely owned by you is a violation of the rules of this contest and will result in disqualification from the competition and the removal of the art from this website.
  • All contestants that meet the qualifications will be entered in the contest.

Qualifications

  • The art work has to be an original piece of art both created by and completely owned by you, the contestant.
  • The art work can not be deemed offensive by JoshuaBaby.
  • The contestant has to be at least 16 years old.
  • The art does not have to be religious or of any genre.
  • Submitting an application gives us the right to display the art piece on the website and use it for the competition.

How do you win?

  • There will be 5 rounds. You have to successfully get enough votes from the public (friends, family, visitors to the site…etc)  to make it to the next round. The contestants with the fewest votes will be eliminated. The contestants in the top 75th percentile will move forward.
  • You make it through each round by keeping out of the bottom 25th percentile of votes.
  • The winner of each round wins a cash prize. (The winner of the 1st round wins $100, 2nd round winner  gets $150, 3rd round winner gets $200, 4th round winner gets $250 and the  5th round winner gets $300)
  • Votes do not accumulate. Each round is independent of previous and future rounds.
  • After the 5th round there will be a finale.
  • The contestant with the art piece that has the most votes at the finale will be declared the winner and awarded the $1,500 prize.
  • The contestant with the art piece that has the 2nd highest amount of votes at the finale will get a $500 prize.

How does voting work?

  • Voters are identified and tracked by their tag name, email and IP address.
  • Voting is done through score voting. A voter can give an art piece between 0-10 points.
  • A voter can vote for multiple art pieces per round but can only vote for each art piece once in each round.
  • Throughout the competition votes will be given the opportunity to multiple or boost their votes through participation on the website.

How do the winners get their winnings?

  • Awards are paid through Venmo, Paypal, CashApp and Zelle .
